Texas Roadhouse Cinnamon Honey Butter




2 sticks of butter, at room temperature
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. honey
2 tsp. ground cinnamon

How to make it : 



Whip the butter so it's nice and creamy. 
This is where the room temperature part makes things easier)
Add the powdered sugar and mix it all in. Then add the honey and the cinnamon. Then whip it. Whip it good. ("Ba da ba da da. Crack that whip!") Scrape the sides and whip it a little more.
Store the heavenly concoction in the fridge or leave it out at room temperature. It's going to spread much easier at room temperature, but it's up to you! Serve on rolls, toast, bagels, sweet potatoes, etc. Enjoy! And good luck not eating all of it!

Three Ingredient Chicken







What You'll Need



  • 1 whole chicken cut up
  • 2 packets of dry Italian Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

How to Make It


  1. Mix the Italian Seasoning packet and the brown sugar. Coat the chicken in the mix on all sides. Next line a baking pan with foil (the sugar mix will caramelize and be sticky). Bake at 350 degrees until golden brown and krispy.


Brunswick Stew







What You'll Need



  • 3 pounds boneless pork shoulder roast (Boston Butt)
  • 3 medium-size new potatoes, peeled and chopped
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 (18-ounce) bottle barbecue sauce
  • 1 (14-ounce) can chicken broth
  • 1 (9-ounce) package frozen baby lima beans, thawed
  • 1 (9-ounce) package frozen corn, thawed or (cream corn)
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How to Make It


  1. Trim roast and cut into 2-inch pieces. Stir together all ingredients in a 6-quart slow cooker. Cover and cook on LOW 10 to 12 hours or until potatoes are fork-tender. Remove pork with a slotted spoon, and shred. Return shredded pork to slow cooker, and stir well.



Chili Style Coney Sauce







What You'll Need



  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 (1.25 ounce) package chili seasoning mix

How to Make It


  1. 1 tablespoon prepared yellow mustard
  2. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  3. 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  4. Directions
  5. Stir lean ground beef, water, tomato sauce, chili seasoning mix, yellow mustard, onion powder, and garlic powder together in a large saucepan; bring to a boil, stirring often. Cover, reduce heat to low, and simmer until ground beef is no longer pink, about 10 minutes.
  6. Remove lid and simmer sauce until thickened, about 20 more minutes.




AMISH CINNAMON BREAD-







What You'll Need



  • Batter:
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups buttermilk or homemade buttermilk--- 2 cups milk plus 2 tablespoons vinegar or lemon juice
  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • Cinnamon/sugar mixture:
  • 2/3 cups sugar
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

How to Make It


  1. Cream together butter, 2 cups of sugar, and eggs. Add milk, flour, and baking soda. Put 1/2 of batter (or a little less) into greased loaf pans (1/4 in each pan). Mix in separate bowl the 2/3 c sugar and cinnamon.
  2. Sprinkle 3/4 of cinnamon mixture on top of the 1/2 batter in each pan. Add remaining batter to pans; sprinkle with last of cinnamon topping. Swirl with a knife. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 min. or until toothpick tester come clean.
  3. Cool in pan for 20 minutes before removing from pan.




Old Fashioned Banana Cream Pie







What You'll Need



  • 1 (9 inch) pie crusts, baked
  • 3 cups whole milk
  • 3⁄4 cup white sugar
  • 1⁄3 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1⁄4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 bananas

How to Make It


  1. Have baked 9-inch pie shell ready.
  2. In a large saucepan, scald the milk.
  3. In another saucepan, combine the sugar, flour and salt; gradually stir in the scalded milk.
  4. Over medium heat, stirring constantly, cook until thickened.
  5. Cover and, stirring occasionally, cook for two minutes longer.
  6. In a small bowl, have the 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, ready; stir a small amount of the hot mixture into beaten yolks; when thoroughly combined, stir yolks into hot mixture.
  7. Cook for one minute longer, stirring constantly.
  8. Remove from heat and blend in the butter and vanilla.
  9. Let sit until lukewarm.
  10. When ready to pour, slice bananas and scatter in pie shell; pour warm mixture over bananas.
  11. If desired, make a meringue (you'll have 3 leftover egg whites) to top the pie, or just let the pie cool until serving.




SMOTHERED CUBE STEAK







What You'll Need



  • 4-6 Cube Steaks
  • 3 Cups Sliced Mushrooms
  • 1 Small Onion, halved and sliced thin (1/2 a Large)
  • Salt
  • Black Pepper
  • Flour
  • 2 cups Chicken Stock
  • Vegetable Oil

How to Make It


  1. Prep Veggies. Put your cube steaks on a plate and season both sides with salt, pepper, Put 2 big spoonfuls of flour on top of the steak and rub in, flip and repeat.
  2. Pour enough oil into your skillet cover the cooking surface with oil, about 1/4 cup Heat oil on medium high. When oil is nice and hot, test with a pinch of the flour for the steak plate to see if it bubbles & sizzles. If it does then add your steaks to the pan. Cook at medium high for about 3 minutes on each side. Remove steak to a clean plate. Remove Pan from burner, discard all oil except about 2 tablespoons. Return to heat, add mushrooms and onions and stir to get any brown bits from the bottom of the pot. Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Cook until mushroom and onions start to turn golden, make sure nothing burns. Add just shy of 2 table spoon of flour and stir until veggies are coated. Add Chicken stock and stir well. Cook on medium high, until it has thickened and the return steaks and flip around in the gravy Cover.simmer on low heat about 45 minutes
